FLORIDA NOTARY EDUCATION COURSE

ASN's Florida Notary Education Course, Essentials of Notary Practice, is a comprehensive, state-approved 3-hour Online Notary Education Course that meets Florida's statutory notary education requirements.
To prepare notaries for their duties, the law requires that a first-time applicant for a notary commission must take a 3-hour notary training course. This course is intended to explain the Florida notary laws and prepare the new or veteran notary to perform notarial duties in the traditional manner or by using the technology of the new century. The education course has been designed with you in mind, and you may take the course at your own pace.
You may take up to two weeks to finish this course from the date of your initial log-in. Within that time, take a break at any time or log out of the course and return at a later date. Upon finishing the notary training course, you'll be issued the Certificate of Completion necessary to complete your Florida Notary Commission Application Package.
• A 3-hour Notary Education Course is MANDATORY for all NEW Florida Notary Applicants. This notary training may be taken online or in a live classroom environment.
