Notary Commission Qualifications
Applicants must:
be at least 18 years old;
be a resident of the state of Utah for at least 30 days from the date applying or have permanent resident status under Section 245 of the immigration and Nationality Act; and
be able to read, write and speak the English language.

→Purple ink specified. Embossing seal may only be used in conjunction with ink stamp; embossed seal impression must NOT be inked.

Authorized Duties

administer oaths and affirmations;
execute jurats;
certify copies.
