New Hampshire Notary Requirements and Information

New Hampshire Notary Commission Qualifications
Notary applicants must:
• be at least 18 years old;
• be a resident of the state of New Hampshire OR a resident of a bordering state (Maine, Massachusetts or Vermont) who has primary employment in the state of New Hampshire AND is also a registered Notary public in their state of residence;
• sign a written statement under oath as to whether he/she has ever been convicted of a crime that has not been annulled by a court, other than minor traffic violations;
• have an endorsement by two notaries and one registered voter of New Hampshire.
• complete a Criminal Record Release Authorization Form.
